THE GROUP

"Fresh Donuts" may have been meant to be a collaboration of MC Chalkskin and DJ Pop'N'Fresh, but at subsequent performances, it became apparant that there was strength in numbers.  The excitement and intensity of the four emcees that would soon be known as Chalkskin can never be matched.

In addition to the namesake, Chalkskin was made up of DJ Pop'N'Fresh, J-Man, and Rich Prophet.

When DJ Pop'N'Fresh steps in front of the microphone, you can't contain his insane, aggressive, disjointed flow.  Stomping his combat boots onto the boards of the stage, he commands an audience to jump, march, and shout like a drill instructor.

J-Man

J-Man walks into the room, and everyone might as well jump out from behind the furniture and yell "surprise!"   It's gonna be a party for sure.  His lyrics sizzle and pop like a Miami heatwave.  Ladies are cautioned to try to hydrate in order to avoid fainting.

Rich Prophet
(Richard Baker)

The hard-edge crew's rounded out by the dopest rapper around.  His lyrical acrobatics will give you vertigo.  Rich Prophet shifts between gears like a finely tuned muscle car, and then he hits the nitro and makes all the whack emcees eat his dust.
