UPCOMING SHOW:
On November 1st, Chalkskin will be taking the stage with Con Bro Chill at the Soda Bar in San Diego.  The headliners have been described as a mash-up of LMFAO, OK GO, and Freddie Mercury, so it should be a good fit for us, since some have described our group as a mash-up of Vanilla Ice, The Bangles, and the FreeCreditScore.com band.

UPCOMING EVENT:
Reactor Con has invited us to perform for their cos-playing, comic-buying, autograph-hounding convention goers.  We're really excited, because it's not everyday you can flirt with a chick dressed as an alien fighting Japanese schoolgirl without a Chris Hansen jumping in and asking you to have a seat.

CHALKSKIN WARRIORS IN ACTION:
We are putting together our first street teams in San Diego (headed up by Rich Prophet) and Los Angeles (headed up by DJ Pop'N'Fresh).  We are seeking passionate warriors to charge out on the streets and share their music with those they encounter.  CDs containing "Nerdstock" and "Grape Drink (Purple Stuff)" will be handed out to anyone willing to rock out with their Spock out or indulge in a sugary treat.

Your ideas and input are the fuel that this will run on, so please hit us up!!



PAY IT FORWARD:
One thing that we are desperately lacking right now are reviews for "PayDay."  You don't believe me?  Hit us up on iTunes or CD Baby or wherever you pick up your favorite music.  You'll see tons of feedback on MC Hammer, but not a whole lot about Chalkskin.  Reality is, our stock goes up when our review count goes up.  Even if the review says we suck, which it wouldn't, because we don't.

So if you love our music, and you are wondering why more people don't know about it. . .  Well, now you know one pretty important reason.

Do us a favor please, and go out there and review our stuff.  And do it everywhere!!  Post it on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, your blog, your favorite forum.  Let's build the name and let the world know!!

Nerdstock isn't just a song.  It's a dream.  A place where you can come and belong.  A place where you can listen to all of the greatest nerdcore rappers and geek rockers.  A place where music, games, movies, and comics come together in a spectacular explosion of fireworks that rain down glory and love!

Chalkskin is leading the way for this event to come out of the dreamscape and become a reality.  We hope to leverage our alliances to make Nerdstock THE event of 2013.

I need volunteers to help with getting sponsors to make this event the one we all imagine when we listen to the song.  I've got kits that need printed, mailed, followed up on, etc.  And we need your ideas to put them in the forefront of the potential sponsor's minds.
